London trip 2014

WE ARE BACK!!!
The 4th year ESO pupils and their "brave " teachers spent five days in London.
Despite the rain and the tube strike, we had a fantastic time visiting its ain sites such as Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament & its famous Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, S Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London.

We learnt how to move around London and how to take trains. We travelled on the under and overground, but we also waslked around Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Covent Garden & Picadilly Circus. We all climbed up the 311 steps leading to the top of The Monument where we could enjoy a spectacular view of the whole city.

We went shopping in the expensive shops on Oxford St, and at the stands in Portobello marquet and Candem Town, where we had a lovely fish and chips meal.

We also had fun at the dungeons and on the London Eye, and visited the Chelsea stadium.
Besides,we  learned about British culture and history at the British museum. But above all, we all had a great time together, we got to know each other better and mete other foreign students with whom we could speak and practice our English.
